The 2023 GLAAD Media Awards brought double the excitement — and not just because they're bi...coastal, that is! After celebrating in Los Angeles on March 31, GLAAD crossed the country to hand out more prestigious honors in New York on May 13.

🎬 Big Winners of the Night! The top honors included a thrilling tie for Outstanding Film - Streaming/TV between Fire Island and Anything's Possible. Meanwhile, HBO's We're Here conquered the competition by winning Outstanding Reality Series, besting RuPaul's Drag Race, which shared the crown last year.

🎀 Talk Show Triumphs! Apple TV's The Problem With Jon Stewart claimed victory for Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode, while Logo's Trans Youth Town Hall was crowned winner for Outstanding Online Journalism - Video or Multimedia.

πŸ§‘‍πŸ‘©πŸŒŸ Special Recognitions! Hosted by What We Do in the Shadows' Harvey GuillΓ©n, the evening also saw Jonathan Van Ness receive the Vito Russo Award, presented by ALOK. Country music queen Maren Morris took home the Excellence in Media Award, presented by drag icons Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Alyssa Edwards.

🎢 Showstopping Performances & Appearances! The fabulous Idina Menzel graced the stage with a dazzling performance, while stars like Bowen YangJoel Kim BoosterColman DomingoFrankie GrandeBob the Drag Queen, and Eureka added sparkle to the night. GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis also delivered an inspiring address.
